Recently one of my friends had the same problem. His machine was hit by some viruses which disabled the ‘Folder Options’ Option in the Tools menu in Windows Explorer. This is mostly done by viruses to restrict user from viewing hidden files which one can see after changing settings in ‘Folder Options’ itself (What? You don’t know how to see hidden files? Contact me!).
For those who want to get there ‘Folder Options’ back here we have 2 ways out. Lets see the first one:

ahahahah.....
its the renowned problem of Brontok A virus...nuthing will work for this watever is mentioned above.. it will be fix by only 1 thing... first of all find run cleanX.exe .Run it...it will create 1 txt file on your desktop... just copy that file in this forum and i will tell you further things. And 1 more thing ...I am sure that you dont have any Antivirus...so start using any good and lite antivirus(like Kaspersky..) today. I have attached cleanX tool with this rep...Download it and save it(exe file) your desktop. follwing is the way how to run it: 1 Disconnect/unplug the computer from the Internet. 2 Save any work which you're doing & close all other programs. 3 Reboot your machine before running it. 4 Double-click CleanX-II.exe 5 The tool will begin scanning your machine. Because this worm names it's files randomly, there are a series of cross-checks/verification processes to ensure that the tool does not remove legitimate files. Depending on the size of your drives, this scan may take several minutes. Please be patient during this period & allow it to complete it's task. 6 Once it has finished scanning, it will provide a log file, which will be saved to your Desktop with the name CleanX-II.txt. Post the log with your next post. |
