Default eSATA drive issue?

Hi friends

Recently i got eSATA external drive in sale and i want 2 connect it to my PC.
How do i know that my PC has necessary hard ware to support eSATA drives.
device manager has following informations-

Storage controller
-Intel(R) 82801GR/GH SATA RAID contoller
-Microsoft iSCSI initiator
IDE ATA/ATAPI contoller
-IDE channel.
-Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 family) ultra storage controllers-27DF

Do i have necessary config that support eSATA external drives or i need to upgrade any thing.
