this can be compared to the utorrent of this field, its lighting fast and has a reasonably small size. but the complete scan is slow like the others. it also intergrates antimalware so its like killin 2 blokes with one stone.

AVG Anti-Malware uses the exact same engine as AVG Antivirus free edition plus the Ewido scan engine, so this free version ditto like the paid only without the Ewido scan so its still pretty good.

me using norton 2008 without hassles.....its a far less noisier compared to its previous versions....

"Internet Security" from company called "Trend Micro" is the best. I have used it on several machines and that damn thing keeps the machines clean from viruses, adwares, spywares etc.
They sell it in Best Buy and Circuit city as well as online from their web site www.trendmicro.com. You go to Best Buy's web page for software and you will see that Trend Micro is in their featured brands.
