Well i was jst surfing the web and i saw many linux and other free OS users so this motivated me to write smthing here so the main purpose for posting this thread is to Suggest other users as well as TECH mod's on DC to promote OPEN SOURCE Softwares and other projects...
e.g:
Music or mp3 rippers upload these files in ogg vorbis or other free formats..
and so on like these type of things....

For those who Don't knw about OPEN SOURCE...
open source softwares r which r free to use,modify and redistribute..
As most of us r Windows users and as many will knw the price of Licensed windows price...and other windows softs which r very expensive..
So jst check OPEN source softwares and OS(linux..etc)
As linux has almost 10,20 main distributions...I will suggest ubunto and mandriva for begginers...
